Author/journalist Harold Goldberg has written for The New York Times, Washington Post, Vanity Fair, New York and many more. He founded The New York Game Awards and The New York Videogame Critics Circle, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization of 35 multicultural group of 35 writers and critics. NYVGCC advances education and educates the public about technology, videogames, the games and technology industries, and journalism by conducting educational classes and workshops for students and older adults, paid educational internship programs for students, and providing scholarships to students.  In early 2019, the New York Game Awards garnered 400,000 viewers on Twitch.
